good grief.
a lot has transpired since my last post.
first but not formeost, though chronologically and logically pertinent.
emily and i got back together july 3. we had some serious discussion and realizd that all the people we'd sene since each other had been losers and nobody could compare to each other in our minds.
it's storming, the windows are open and i'm listening to an old foo fighters mp3 from way back in the day. good vibes.

foremost, though not first. logically second.
emily was due yesterday. her doctor removed the "mucus plug," so to speak, but it failed to induce labor. the doc said she'll break her water next wednesday if she doesn't start sooner.
so what this boils down to is, i'm gonna start being a dad in the next six days.
in other news, the band is okay. we're working on a new song in which i play piano first half, electric guitar the second and even drop a little science with a solo. show in keokuk saturday. i hope em doesn't go on that day. i really want to play but i can't miss the birth by any means.
in home news, p and a (whom i live with) finished the pool a few weeks ago and the deck hsoul dbe forthcoming. there are also plans for a rec room in the garage with a poolt able and air hockey and we also have a wet bar in the living room now. it's pretty rad living here, though it gets a lil hot in the room in the afternoons.
i'm thinking about taking over jeremy's room since he moved out into his own house recently. but i love the view here, so i dunno.
not much else i can think of right now, maybe more later.
