Somebody towed my car yesterday for parking inches in to their driveway. I was only away from my car for about 20 minutes. When the fuck has a tow truck ever come in under 20 minutes. When I came back I thought someone had stolen my car, possibly as some sort of cosmic retribution for my slothful and materialistic ways. Then I thought, why would anyone steel [I}my car. I doubt beat up 94' corollas fetch much on the market. Anyway, I called the police station and they told me it had been towed, so I bussed down to the Hall of Justice and sqeezed out $171.75. Of course there was an additional $75 ticket on the windsheild that I'll need to come up with the extra cash for, but at least I have my car back. Now I really need a job.
