Thanks for all the birthday wishes all. I had a pretty fun time yesterday despite having no clue where to go. The goal was to get drunk and the mission was accomplished. San Francisco certainly has no shortage of bars, but I feel it may take some lengthy research to find the right ones. At some point during the night, my comrades and I found ourselves in a small, hole in the wall, bar in China town. The bartender entertained us with magic tricks and nearly indecipherable dirty jokes delivered in broken English. Every song in the juke box had something to do with San Francisco. "I left my heart" "If your going" and so forth. Judging from the reaction of the bartender, I think my entourage and I were probably the largest crowd that place has had in some time. The last thing I remember before crashing is my neighbor complaining about my playing of the Melvins around 4am. Oops.

I just bought my ticket to see the Freakin' MC5!!!!!!!! AND NOW IT'S TIME TO... well you know the rest.
