So I started the Eric Clapton thread and now 90% of the SG world hates me for it. Hey who knows, maybe I am some idiot psycho with a lame sense of humor, then again maybe everybody is taking this way too seriously. I do understand why they get so frazzled over something like this, they are looking at the reality of it all. I guess my perspective is slightly scewed. I generally except something as humorous when I think "If this was fiction in a movie it would be a good joke." Well it's not fiction. Eric Clapton is a real guy, but not to me. Ive never met him or seen him or ever probably been 100 miles from him. Ive never appreciated his music, but it goes without saying that if I met him, I probably wouldn't tell this joke. Anyway, you have to give it one thing. It is Ironically enough a moderately successful thread. I think the thing to do if you really didnt like it, was leave it alone, because every time you post a "hey handle is really screwed in the head" it just keeps it going and draws more attention to it.
