So late last Friday night, I decided that I would drive up to Oregon for the weekend and spend Labor day with my Dad, Grandparents and Uncles. It's not often the Millers get together as we all live very seperate lives for the most part. It was actually a pretty good weekend. Now back to the grindstone.

Older people who crap on younger folks because they "don't know shit yet" are just as likely to be ignorant because they think they've achieved some plateau and stop looking at things deeply.
That said, people who can't conceive that they don't know everything are especially annoying if they're young.
Unfortunately, no one pops out of the womb with their shit together. You have to blunder through it for a while. In my experience the turning point is when you accept yourself, warts and all, but still try to accentuate the better parts and see what you can do about the crappy parts. That can come at any age, but tends to be in the mid twenties, of course for some it's younger and for some it never happens at all.
Having friends of different ages requires you to understand where they're at. I'm as grateful for my 20 year old friends as well as my 50 year old friends.
