I feel like i am in same place as I was at the start of the year, but I am not. I am a way different person. I have had a pretty good year, even if a large chunk of it was solitary. I do want to change that next year. Go out and be social more. Make some friends, meet some other photographers hopefully. Or maybe meet people that don't mind me pointing a camera at them.
I guess overall 2011 is going ot be about making connections with others. I have to learn a lot, to make business and personal relationships and manage them correctly. I have always been so bad about talking to people. Always with the "well if they want to talk to me they will talk to me" attitude. Have to learn to get what I want, not wait for anyone else to come to me with anything.
