Every day I spend in this city I'm more and more amazed by how beautiful it is. I've traveled a lot when I was younger, my dad having been a salesman. He loved to take me places, mainly in the US, and every morning when I woke up I was always surprised to find myself in whatever city or state I was in. When I wake up here, I'm never surprised. Just happy.

Classes have sucked. I really think that the people who organized this trip didn't tell the professors how much we already know. They're teaching us really basic stuff. And the few courses that aren't basic are boring as fuck.

Today we visited this animation studio nearby which was really fucking cool. Then we were forced to go sightseeing, which I hate. Like I said, my family and I have been to so many places and I'm so bored with touristy crap like that. After a while, all these tourist attractions just look identical.

Last night, me and this guy Chris who I met here decided we were going to go and hang out with these girls from our dorm building at the town square and watch the soccer game on the big screen TVs they had set up there (Czech Republic won, by the way! Go Czechs!). We went and realized that most of them were pretty stupid (although, the one I was talking to was pretty cool, but she had to leave early). So we decided to ditch them to go play pool with this other kid, Evan. But, before they left they said, if we wanted to hang out we should stop by this club called Bombay. Well, we quickly found out that bars with pool tables seem to be the only ones that actually close at night around here (bars tend to stay open here til about 5 or 6 AM, sometimes even later). So, we decided to go find those girls. Spent about 2 hours trying to find the Bombay Club, only to find that the girls weren't there. So, we left and tried to find our way home, and got rediculously lost.

So, on the way back we see these three girls and ask them if they know where the Charles Street Bridge is, because we know how to get back to our dorm from there. They said "Yeah, it's this way. We're headed the same way, you want us to walk with you." We said sure. So, we're walking along and Chris asks them where they're from, and they said Istanbul (at which point Evan starts singing They Might Be Giants, and I informed him of how sick they must be of that song by now). So Chris asks them what they're in town for, and they say buisness. Chris asks them what kind of buisness, and she says "the sex business". This was the point at which we realized that each of them had paired off with one of us. They were basically hoping to make a sale. Of course we said no, but Chris was trying to talk the head girl into sleeping with him for free. Needless to say it didn't work.

Just before I came over to the internet cafe we stopped off at this restaraunt near here which is really good. We had tried it last night and loved the food. However we learned something quite interesting. They apparently loooove to screw customers over. They had pretzels and bread on the table for us when we came in. Kind of forgot to mention that we would be charged for both of these (we were NOT charged for them last night). Chris (who was sitting at another table because he was eating with a few people who got there before us) made a big scene about it and caught them trying to charge him twice as much for pretzels as the menu said. He had told them their three pretzels would be twenty Crowns a piece, making it 60 crowns. When Chris pointed out that the menu said 10 crowns a piece, the genius waiter replies "You didn't say 6?" Yeah, that's our last time eating there, even if the food is good.

Oh, in case you haven't noticed yet, I figured out how to reconfigure the keyboard so I can type using the stardard English characters. Yay for that.
