I won't be able to check this site as much this week as I normally do. I'm back home in Rhode Island on break, and I have to share the computer with my mom and her friend's son who's staying with us, neither of which know about me being on this site, and neither of which are going to know about it. I'll still be able to check on it once in a while, but I won't be constantly checking the boards and posting all the time like I normally do.

I don't know if any of my friends are around. Hopefully they are. Even if they're not, I'll be able to entertain myself. I've decided to dedicate this break to catching up on my reading and film watching. I know movie watching seems like a lazy past time, but keep in mind I am a film major (well, a double major, my other major is in writing and literature), so I consider watching good films to be in the same vein as reading classic literature. It's sort of an educational kind of thing, not just for fun.

Like, this morning (I slept all day yesterday and last night after having forefit sleep the night before, so my day began at 4 AM) I watched Akira Kurosawa's Ran, which is a great movie! It's a retelling of Shakespeare's King Lear as a Samuri film. That just blew my mind. So fucking good.

I also want to get ahead on some of my schoolwork. If I don't keep my grades up high enough this semseter, I risk losing a 12,000 dollar scholarship, and that would really really suck!

Anyway, I'll still stop by to talk with all of you, my favorite internet friends. It'll just be a little less frequent than usual, but just for this week. I love you all!
