I went to ZakSmith's art show last Friday and had a blast. I met a bunch of SG's and SGNY people, like Gonzoe, minimalism, Rush, the lovely siamkittie, and vegemite. Siamkittie took a bunch of pictures, which I even helped her to procure, and most of the people that she's pictured with in her latest journal I had the pleasure of meeting.
I hope to meet many more SGNY'ers as I go to Double Down Saloon for this Friday's SGNY event. Bring on the ass juice.
On another note, winter weather and the impeding Holiday Season has prompted me to find my crochet hooks and yarn, because if you've ever been poor like I am you know how you pretend it's quasi-cool to make a bunch of home-made, geeky gifts for people for Christmas. But my skills are rudimentary at best so now you know you're all getting scarves and pot-holders for Christmas.

I just hit the yarn/boucle/thread jackpot! The Dollar Tree has all kinds of cute yarns! For, gasp, a dollar!!
