i've been staying at my friends' apartment for the past couple days due to relatives being in town. they needed a place to stay, and i didn't really want to be around them or share the same house with them, cause they are distant distant relatives who i have never met before and have absolutely nothing in common with, so i opted to stay with friends near campus instead. it's been fun, but damn do i miss my bed. i am aching for a good nights sleep. also, i miss my tivo. on the bright side, i get to eat actual food, as opposed to the atkins hell-hole that my house has become.

my classes so far have been pretty cool. i made a stop motion short in class last night using action figures as the stars and collages made by a group member as the background. the basic plot was: Peter Venkman gets home after a long hard day of ghostbusting, and climbs into bed. he then slips off into dream land. the first dream scenario involves him flying around in a weird world covered in pictures of the guy from excite bike and pac-man. he then slolems through the south park kids and into the next dream scenario. he runs into jay and silent bob. they share an awkward silence, and peter leaves. he wanders into the desert to find anya from buffy. there is a reveal shot of her and peter finds her very attractive. his eye bulge out of their sockets, his mouth opens real big, and his hair is lifted from his head. he then takes off into space, and spins around a little. he then wakes up in bed, next to jay, and his face does the aforementioned freaking out. the end.

seeing as how we couldn't use words, and my group didn't have the slightest idea as to what we were going to do when we started, i think it turned out ok. all we had were action figures and a couple backgrounds.

so yeah, i'm tired. i might sleep for a while now.
