Hiya!

I'm never sure what kind of stuff to write on these Journals because it's not like there is a lot you can't find out about me already and I certainly don't feel the need to vent my deepest inner-most thoughts.

So How about a couple of quick movie reviews...

The Aviator - A very grand movie that ends right where it should have begun.

Million Dollar Baby - A great movie about living life fully. Very sad... don't expect to watch it without giving up a day being depressed. It's like The Notebook on steroids

Hotel Rwanda - what can I say. If you want proof America sucks sometimes remember not only did we do nothing when this was happening Schindlers list was winning an Oscar right in the middle of this genocide and nobody seems to notice the irony. Don Cheadle is great in it

Ray - I don't know if Jamie Foxx did a good job or not because there are no shots in this movie lasting more than 4 seconds. Give the man time to act people... Jesus. It'll probably win a couple of Oscars because people will be rewarding the real Ray Charles in their minds

Napolean Dynamite - The single most influential Movie of last year, Gosh!

Spiderman 2 - I was in it for 2 minutes... ergo an instant classic

Barely Legal 22 - weak plot, doesn't properly carry the narrative over from the rest of the series. A lot of unaswered questions. 4 stars

I hope this enhances your movie going experience!

Big Love,

Hal

p.s. great albums - Josh Todd , Thornley
