ugh... Monday again. The unpacking continues - I now have one room almost completely set... I'll buy a queen-sized bed today, and maybe a couch tomorrow. I got my fridge on Saturday, it's a stainless steel beast, but it matches my stainless steel table and sink, and eventually, my new stove as well. I've got a quart of milk and some coffee grounds in it. I realized last night, upon unpacking all of my dishes, that I have too many shot glasses and not enough plates. Still, I'll have plenty of time to fix that later. Spent the weekend up near the MA-NH border, including my virgin experience in New Hampshire. I plan on making a road trip later in the summer up to all of the extreme northeast, including a stop in Canada, as I've never been to any of those places.
On a nerdier note, I've been invited to play in a mega battle to take place this Saturday - Warhammer 40,000... last bastion of wargamers and geeks around the world. The guys at the "official" store up in Cambridge have challenged my local store to a battle between good and evil, right and wrong, regular and unleaded... so the fact that I was called by the store was actually really flattering.
And as anyone who knows me will tell you, flattery will get you everywhere...
