well at least this finally came back drilled.
Trying to get ready to leave for salt lake on monday but i don't know if i'm going to make it. The bike isn't together and i have a case of bursitis in my good shoulder. It is all because i went too hard too fast at the gym. Overworked my god shoulder to make up for the bad one. I so dunno. Three to four days of driving my not be the best for it. Then a week of riding. I will know sunday night if i'm going. I don't want to miss bonneville but i may have to.
I also got some bad news from the doc about my bad shoulder and the surgery in the winter. I was told i would not be able to ride a mtn bike or an off-road motorcycle anymore. They said the impacts would destroy the replacement. I'm kinda bummed but they said i can still ride on the road. But, i'm questioning the surgery now, cause i would still get impacts on a road motorcycle or bicycle. Still going to go to 3 more docs before the surgery for other opinions.
i still have tickets for Sunno))) and Sleep in nyc for sept but someone bailed. Looking for another place to stay now and someone to go with. I'll stay in a hotel if i have to.
Lets hope my good shoulder gets better so i can have one final big bash of fun before surgery (if i have it). If i have to give shit up, i'm going out in fucking blaze of glory. Hell, I may even wait till late winter for one last snowboarding trip in the rockies. I want one more day of powder before i give that up too.
