awoke by middle of the night shoulder pain. i've lost my ability to ride a bicycle/motorcycle over the past week. i can't do normal lifting, i can't lift my arm at all really without pain, crazy shoulder pops and unstable movement. i can't even use tools right now to work on a bike or even make art outside of the digital realm. Working with my hands is out of the question at this time. THere has to be a way to fix this.

yes, it could be the rotator cuff that is causing this but i have a pretty bad case of osteoarthritis in my shoulder. I've had these symptoms before, they have just gotten worse over the last two weeks. This also isn't necessarily a matter of getting old and paying for my active youth. My shoulder was torn apart by lose pins that popped out due to another surgery. Those pins destroyed the cartilage in my shoulder. Yes, those pins where in there due to snowboarding and motocross. i had fun in my teens and 20's being an adeline junkie. i don't regret a damn thing. Truthfully all these injuries have made me stronger.

i've decided i have to get answers and find a way to fix this. No more vague answers from doctors who dont want to deal with my due to my young age. i"ll just keep goingto others till i find someone with answers. i don't care if i have to fly to canada or wherever. If snowboarders, bmx riders and other extreme sports dudes can go out and find crazy effective treatments for acl surgery for knees, i sure as hell can find something to fix a shoulder and help me get my life back i had 3 years ago at vcu.

i will use the rest of my savings and pull every thing out i have invested to do this. it is time to fight and not take no for an answer. It is time to take up where my dad left off. If it wasn't for him i would have a fused neck. He is the one who made that happen by somehow finding other docs who would take a progressive approach to treatments in 2000 when i broke my neck in salt lake on a mountain bike. There has to be others like me with with shoulder issues due to the rise of extreme sports with the X/Y generation.

IT is time to go big or go home. i can't lose the things i love in my early 30s. i can't keep sitting in waynesboro watching hopes/dreams fade away and not taking action. i had a taste of old me this past summer. i haven't felt that great in about 6 years due to swimming and other physical activities. i'm not letting that. go i'm getting my life back.
