ok so i come into work just about as excited as you can be for work at a coffee shop today, mostly because my friend lent me the somewhat new mike doughty album and i was gonna play it throughout the store and rip "busting up a starbucks." onto my list. a few others as well, but i thought that song would be funny, on my playlist, in a coffee shop, that's not starbucks. ha ha.
so instead i was greeted by my co-worker who proceeded to chomp on my balls the whole damn shift. all day she bitched at me and ordered me around and treated me like i needed a helmet and drool-cup to operate in the store. made no effort to even be civil with me, and even yelled at me when i tried to help her clean the coffee pots.
anyway. here's the deal. i wanted to ask her what was up after we clocked out and left the building, but as soon as the door closed and i turned around, she was gone around the corner. this is going somewhere, don't worry. all i know is, 2 days ago she said to be nice to here cuz she was on the rag. but she said it in a cute, nice, subtle warning way. i guess my question is, should i ask her if she has a problem with me, or a seperate problem all together that she's taking out on me? cuz frankly, i really hope this is not just a bad mood brought on by the crazy hormones stuff that's goin on there. cuz frankly i've seen people deal with 14 day crippling cramp periods and still manage to hold onto some shred of personality and respect for others. and i know everyone's different and all that, but i just refuse to let a period be an excuse to be so rude and disrespectful to a co worker. but she was only slightly rude to the customers. i don't even think they noticed, cuz it kinda came off as cute smiley sarcasm. sigh. am i being some kinda sexist pig for saying that this bitch has no excuse if its hormones? do i have the right to delve into her personal life if her shitty mood is putting me in a shitty mood?
sorry for the rant. i never even got to play doughty. i appreciate any advice you could give me ladies, even if its's a good slap in the face.
