A string of devastating natural disasters in a short period of time.
pakistan, new orleans, southeast asia.
wars.
everywhere.
people feeling more desperately on edge than ever. on edge. the edge to what?
this is the end of times, people. i don't care what religion or lack thereof you adhere to. something or someone is PISSED.
This is not where i tell everyone to repent and claim JC as your lord and savior. i feel terrified right now that this is a possiblity. it kept me up almost all of last night. i think the feeling that everywhere i look, people are losing, the feeling that everyone in every environment i dwell in is becoming so isolated, is something that is not new to me. i've felt like the world is ending dozens of times. the problem is that this feeling is happening more and more, at a frighteningly increasing frequency.
until this feeling passes, the only thing i can say is that human beings are bonded by feelings of isolation. we're all connected by not feeling connected and that's just slow death by irony. so just hold each other, i guess. the next person you see on the street with that look in their eye, and you'll know it, reach out to them in some unique way. there's nothing else we can do.

Now go watch a movie and fatten up that girlfriend of yours (she says she is getting too thin)
She looks so much like Cate Blanchett!
I'm sure you hear that all the time?
