Yeehaw!
Got an 87 on my exam!
The semester is half way done, and I am on spring break this coming week!

Maybe I'll catch up on some stuff, and more importantly do a little of NOTHING!
Read, or garden, or ???
I only have to work on Wednesday and Friday...
I am planning to send resumes to 4 or 5 hospitals this week!

I...

Valentines day is tomorrow!
Yay!

love
lotro:
AND??!?

Was it all you hoped for and more?

Not that you asked, but my Valentine's sucked and while I may accept some of the responsibility for that, most of it is someone else's fault - seriously.

So what magic did your partner cook up for you? Or you for him? (please allow me to live vicariously through you) biggrin
papawheelie:
thank you!

Sooooo busy....
Haven't been on in a while.
Went to an "Olney" reunion at "Chickie's and Pete's" on the blvd. on Friday night.
It was really cool to see people that I haven't seen in 10-15 years.
Everyone is 30-40 years old with families and lives...it was great to catch up with everyone!
About 30 people showed up.
We're gonna do it again soon. Get...

My daughter is all better now, YAY!
School has resumed, and my first test is in 3 weeks.
We spent the day on Tuesday going over OB stuff and delivery.
Fundus massage!!!!
Our instructor is hilarious. She keeps us laughing the whole time.
Today we cover pacemakers with a different instructor.
I hope this semester flies by. Someone put up a countdown on one of...

Why the fuck is the Doctors office closed on MLK day?
People still get sick.
I had to take my daughter to the emergency room because she had a fever.
That's excessive.
Her dx papers say she has "the common cold".
She had a fever last night, but this morning she was fine. (besides being really whiney and not really wanting to eat)
I'm glad...

I had a long rant on here because I was mad at my boyfriend. I just deleted it. I'm over it, and I have way bigger things to be worrying about. Besides, I sounded like a whiney bitch, and I hate that.

My dad has been in the hospital recovering from a bone marrow transplant. It's been eventful. He was in Vietnam in '68-'69, wadding...

Of course I picked RED polish for my toes!
I don't really paint my nails or anything. The last time they were painted was when we went last year. (she gets me a gift card for this for Christmas, and we go together, this was our second time) I'm such a tom boy, I...

So tired today. I don't know why.
I'm a little overwhlemed with this whole resume situation.
They want essays, transcripts, recommendations from clinical instructors, references, a cover letter, and of course the resume itself.
I did the resume. Now I have to do all the rest of this stuff.
Now I'm worried about being good enough to get in somewhere great.
My GPA is only...

Good luck on the resumes. I know how incredibly crazy that can be. If you have any specific questions, just ask me...I have family that teaches resume and cover letter writing for the University of Cincinnati and he helped me with my stuff. smile

Keep your chin up!
lotro:
I was going to send you my rsum and cover letter to use as an example, but it sounds like you did alright with that part.

I don't know what to say about the other stuff, I'm pretty much useless.

I will say this though: I basically quit/got kicked out of University and I have a great job as a professional in my field with no formal education. Schooling and applications do count, absolutely, but they don't define our success and moreover our ability to be successful.

Hang in there and believe in yourself because if you don't, then, who will?

*hugs*
