For anyone who's been slightly interested here's an update that's a little over due; life is ok for the most part, I'm just having a hard time with it being that way.
Work is slightly back under control, I'm back down to working a real 40 hour week (it's just cut up over 6 days) and the biggest stress factor will be over this week (manager stepping down, then moving stores, while another manager takes over) so with any luck this time next week I'll actually enjoy my job again. Well that's actually pasting too much, hopefully by this time next week I'm not counting the minutes till I can clock out and race out to my car; best time so far is 3 minutes from clocking out to in my car driving home.
Past that everything is fine boring as all hell for the most part and ever so slightly lonely, but all the bills are paid and I've been trying to get out more. Got to go down and see Portugal, the Man play (opening for Fall of Troy) last week and next Monday I've got tickets for another show (MC Lars, Suburban Legends, 50:50 shot, etc.). Haven't been painting much lately, it's either been to fucking cold at night or I've had to be up to early the next day plus on top of everything before I just haven't been able to muster myself into the mood to sit down and finish anything, I'm praying that feeling starts coming back soon.
All in all everything is going fine and dandy I suppose but the boredom and loneliness of this time of the year is just to much to take sometimes; thankfully at some point in the day I go to sleep and the next morning always seems to make everything feel slightly better. So even there I can't complain, just be annoyed a little I suppose.
I wish there was a good story for that picture but it was basically a prolonged dare between me and a co-worker that started as "I bet you wont" and ended up with "well only if you do!" I do however think it's a pretty funny picture, probably only because I remember having to keep from laughing for 10 minutes before hand to take it with that stupid look on my face.
