So every year on the 2nd Saturday of October the city of Lilburn homes something it calls 'Lilburn Days' in the park about a 2 min walk from me. It's like any other (though I imagine slightly larger than most) arts and crafts festive, lots and lots of local booths with all sorts of stuff. It's generally something I've avoided and dread because for me it means 3 things:

1. I'll be woken up at 8am with the sound of my dog going nuts as people start to show up and try parking on our street then walking though the yard to the park.
2. I'll get woken up again at 9:30am when the fucken parade (of all things, a fucken parade) passes down the street 40-ish feet from my window.
3. When I do finely get out of bed and give up the dream of spending my day off completely in bed I'll have to brave walking my dog outside in streets filled with people and considering he's a huge 85lb Lab that hates people I'll probably just let him pee in the flower bed.

Oh well, not much to be done about it so I'll probably just give into the spirit of the stupid thing and try to see if I can find someone selling fresh caramel apples. Itll be a fitting way to start my first two days off in a row in two months.
