its been a little while, huh?

well now i dont have a very pressing deadline down my neck. so i can let loose a little bit. ahhh... feels good. so good, i did a small sketch. and over time it will develop into an actual picture.



i did that in a few seconds, then fleshed it out a bit



next, it will be even further detailed. then colored. then after that - photoshoped for additive lighting and all that kind of jazz.

ive been thinking about styles and how some people prefer to go with different schools. some people do the anime. other do the 8 bit. other do old school comics. whats mine? whats my flavor?

ive been all over the board, i think. there was a time when i did anime junk. and other when i was into the gothic blacks and uber heavy shadow. and now? what? even i dont know. maybe its something all of my own.

hm. i think im also going to start ending my journal posts with my new logo from now on too.
