Ah today is the day.
You know most will say I don't look Irish. Most will notice my decided lack of accent. Most will harp on me for not wearing something green. Most are hard pressed to believe that I had red hair as a kid that was naturally blonde around the edges. BUT I HAVE THE MOST IRISH NAME EVER COMMITTED TO A BIRTH CERTIFICATE OUTSIDE OF THE U.K. SO I'M GOING TO CELEBRATE MY NON-IRISH ASS OFF!!!!
On a funny note I do have Irish cousins on me mum's side of the family. They're first cousins to my mother and THEIR father was right-off-the-boat-Irish. Someday I'll have to meet my cousin ANGUS and his kin.
Till then it's green beer and redheaded women in abundance for me lads and lasses. Or beer and blondes. Beer and brunettes. Beer and raven-haired lassies. I think I see a trend here....
