And here we are at "that" day again.
Today I must find my good camera because I'm taking a road trip. I'll spend six hours on the road at least today. From Phoenix you could be in San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Mexico, Ski resorts, Sand Dunes, or just outside of El Paso Texas in that amount of time.
Where will I be??? Kingman Arizona
No wait, let me rephrase that, ahem, FUCKING KINGMAN ARIZONA!!!!
For this the monkey and I shall make mankind pay. Picture after horrible picture to document our adventure raiding the little town that time forgot. Might be snaps of people on horseback, might be snaps of coyotes eating the neighbors cat, or maybe of people running away from the first black person they've seen in real life and not just on television!
Well that's not entirely true, my sister lives up there. Blah. I go there today to return her son to her in fact. He's visiting and is too young to drive himself so his favorite uncle is going to spend a whole day taking him home.
Insert funny aside here: Sting, formerly of The Police for those of you old enough to remember, once said in an interview that when Jimi Hendrix came to play in his little town it was the first time he had ever seen a real black person.
Talk about first impressions eh??
Let's see if I can't leave an impression on Kingman.....with my boot if necessary. The Bobo and I will make this a day to remember!!!
