Today it's Christmas shopping day. That makes it an exceptionally funny day for the former ordained minister turned agnostic and quite nearly atheist.
You will never know exactly how little I truly want to do with this holiday.
But this is for my family because that is what is important, so I will go out and buy things that make them
and I'll do it with glee. And doing it today instead of any later I might be able to avoid Christmas overload. Is it just me or do the decorations and crowd size grow exponentially as you approach the 25th???
And this year I'm buying a gift for myself because I can. I'm shopping for a violin, because I haven't had a chance to play since high school and I miss it.
So soon I may be the guy who always takes his camera, monkey, AND violin wherever he goes.

I've always wanted to play the violin. Maybe someday I'll learn. Good luck with that. You should never stop doing something that you love to do!
