It rained here all day yesterday. I love the rain. Of course staying awake throughout the cold, dark, wet day was no small feat but I managed to actually get out.

Saw my dad, my older brother, and one of my nephews. That's always fun and I'm very glad to have my brother back home. They activated his unit when we first went to Iraq and he's been seeing patients in Texas before and after their tour in Iraq as they were shuffled through Texas.

My whole surviving family will actually be here for the holidays, quite a rare thing.

Other than that I'm enjoying my now even-more-blonde than before hairstyle. First bleaching I got to a bright slightly orange yellow. Second time around it's yellow-platinum. Once more and I'll be white as a ghost on top. And soon I will be a nice shade of blue...or purple...or maybe that plum I saw. This should go up to vote because I'm not sure I can make up my mind.

And nothing in the world is funnier than my dads reaction. NOTHING. Absolutely priceless. It still shocks him every time he gets a good look at it and he just gives me this crazy, "what in the world are you doing" kinda smile.

Ok I'm off to get a bowl of cereal and very slowly start the rest of my Sunday.
