Day number 11,596 or being, me..
Welcome to it says I
Here we are on the cusp of Monkeyday and my 11,597 day of life in the "real" world. What can I tell you? This past weekend was good. No girls in pigtails this past weekend. Instead of was time with friends at the bar. Nice. Rather enjoyable. Better still I went on a private road trip on Saturday. Not private as in secret, but private as in solitary. It was an interesting change. Most people think I'm pulling their leg when I tell them that the Vickie and I are almost always seen together, with very few exceptions. We kinda like it that way. Still this was one of those rare times where we went on our own journeys. Mine was to Tucson to meet a friend in "real life" for the first time. It's unbelievable how much talking transpired. Good, old fashioned, face-to-face talking.
People, my pants stayed firmly on my waistline!! It was great. AND I rented a really nice and rather fast red car to make the drive in. I could get used to that. Even better it made me appreciate coming home a whole lot more. Seperation does in fact make the heart grow fonder. Geez and this was only a day and a half, and a planned trip.
So off we go into the next day in my life. Now though I have an Albert Einstein finger puppet and new memories of a great friend to take along with me.
Oh and a rubiks cube.
Oh and a slight case of the going completely crazies.
Oh wait, and some ice cream.
AND radomness to spare.
Confused, but happy.

Ah yes a great place for sporty red cars says I. You should definitely partake of the experience given half a chance. And pick up an Albert Einstein finger puppet while you're there, mine has been to work with me all week so far
