You know I woke up this morning and I was ready.
Clothes freshly laundered and pressed so I could look my best. Game intact so I could inspire monumental levels of swooning. And then REALITY stepped in and reminded me that sometimes, sometimes life just stinks.
It would have been a great day at work but I'm back at home instead because I was laid low on the way in to the office. About 4 miles from home I find myself struck by stomach cramps so severe that I'm doubled over in my car. Methinks it's food poisoning.
Fine I didn't want to enjoy today anyway, stupid one-time-a-year holiday full of unexpected but totally welcome hugs, kisses and other things from people who have been in your orbit waiting for today.
Blah, I'm going back to bed, see if I care *sniffle*
