days like today make it all worth while.

ok, so i had to wake up early, but i would have anyway, right? my ex dropped devon off at my parents lastnight instead of with me. that's fine, whatever. they took care of her overnight, and i was to pick her up this morning. when i got here, she was finishing breakfast, with her back turned to me. i snuck a kiss on her cheek and she turned around, saw me, and gave me the BIGGEST grin and said "daddy!" she's never done that before. said daddy, that is. so a little later, i'm watching good morning america, and she stands up and takes two steps toward me. she's never done that either. it was fucking cool. i made that. i made something that taught itself to walk. fuck yeah.

so yeah. my fucking laptop took a shit lastnight. after updaing to 10.4.7, i restarted and it didn't come back i tried repairing, but it said no. dammit. all that downloading over the weekend for nothing. ah well.

my unemployment is running out in a couple weeks. i need a job...yesterday. i have a prospect, so i'll keep you posted.
