Back from a wintry week-plus in Wisconsin to absolutely no snow on the ground in New York. Bah. Stayed up late last night to watch the Wizard of Speed and Time, which I haven't seen for awhile -- wonderful stuff. In work for a few hours this afternoon even though the office is closed -- nice and quiet, catching up on 1,000-plus emails. Zoinks.

1000 plus emails! :s
Wonderful this week -- almost like springtime! Looking forward to the coming of snow, though, and my first NYC winter.
Rainy day. Sun has set, and auto horns sound angrily on 42nd eight floors below me. I'm torn. I'm supposed to hang out with a friend whom I haven't seen for awhile tonight, but I just want to go home. Fresh back from Dallas this noon, I have my suitcase in tow, and I got home to two new sets of steel shelves I could...

House sitting -- and dog sitting -- for Deb -- and Harpo -- again. Listening to a CD that came along with Mojo magazine, one of the best mags ever -- and watching Stargate: Atlantis. Geek Night!
Catching up here, I've been months away, and I've been catching up here on who's where and doing what. I've been up and down, down lately at work,...

This week I'm caring for a friend's dog, Harpo, who's a dear.
Tonight I'm sitting at my kitchen table, checking in just before bed, after emailing my boss all sorts of ideas on how we can improve the company. Tomorrow, I'll wake early -- I hope -- to catch a bus to Boston to make good on a commitment I -- maybe -- shouldn't have made. Too early for maybe, I'm thinking.

I'm sitting on my sad, sad off-the-street futon and wandering SG in between sf novels and going to bed. I wish I were the kind of man to get _real_ futon instead of this back breaker, but I'm patient. Too patient. Patience, or passivity? I think we can tell.
What a strange change of days! Yesterday and Sunday were absolutely wonderful -- sunny, clear, somewhat cool. Perfect spring days, and awesome for walking around. Now today, the actual _holiday_ is overcast and wet. So I mosied into work to take advantage of the quiet -- no sense taking the day if it's yucky out.

Yup, not a bad day to be at the office, as far as frikkin holidays at work go. Just saw your post in Lit. Group so I thought I'd drop by and say 'Hello". And I did, so now I'm gone.
I have moved to Brooklyn. Fourth floor walk up, Greenpoint. Visiting Boss Town this week, caught a show with So & So and Shumai. Nice to have two homes.
