My birthday is this week -- and this afternoon I splurged on a little midweek treat: Andy Summers and Danny Elfman at Carnegie Hall. Since moving here, I haven't been to Carnegie yet (practice, practice), but as a longtime Oingo Boingo geek -- since grade school! -- I can't quite miss the world premiere of Elfman's first orchestral work not done for film. Too freaking cool.
