Tonight I'm sitting at my kitchen table, checking in just before bed, after emailing my boss all sorts of ideas on how we can improve the company. Tomorrow, I'll wake early -- I hope -- to catch a bus to Boston to make good on a commitment I -- maybe -- shouldn't have made. Too early for maybe, I'm thinking.

Blar.

I'm sitting on my sad, sad off-the-street futon and wandering SG in between sf novels and going to bed. I wish I were the kind of man to get _real_ futon instead of this back breaker, but I'm patient. Too patient. Patience, or passivity? I think we can tell.

What a strange change of days! Yesterday and Sunday were absolutely wonderful -- sunny, clear, somewhat cool. Perfect spring days, and awesome for walking around. Now today, the actual _holiday_ is overcast and wet. So I mosied into work to take advantage of the quiet -- no sense taking the day if it's yucky out.

I have moved to Brooklyn. Fourth floor walk up, Greenpoint. Visiting Boss Town this week, caught a show with So & So and Shumai. Nice to have two homes.

Looks like I'm moving to Brooklyn. Went down this weekend to find a place, found one, and I might move by the end of the year, even. Take that, Big Apple.

Yesterday afternoon, I went down to Philadelphia for a meeting for work. Instead of flying right back, I spent the night on the edge of Independence Park, not far from the new home of the Liberty Bell. It's a pretty cool facility. I've been rather successful in my attempts to become more boring. I've been cooking dinner almost nightly, not going out to shows, and watching movies instead. This means that I'm saving money -- and having slightly more energy during the day. Both good things.

Saturday, a friend and I went to Funspot in New Hampshire to visit the second-largest video game arcade in the country.

Went to bed during the 9th inning last night, with the Yanks and the Sox tied 5-5. Woke up this morning to learn I was glad I hadn't stayed up for all 11 innings. How frustrating!

After a slow start to the day, I've been pretty productive at work, although things haven't been as hectic as they've been the last couple of weeks. I'm lingering...

Good day today. Cool, breezy. The Sox are still in the playoffs, and it's 4-0 Sox in the 5th. Will they go on to the World Series? Wow. Talked to my folks, who are on a road trip and currently near Chicago. Also catching up on Shonen Jump. I had no idea the story behind Yu-Gi-Oh! was so cool.
