I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I did, until 1:30 in the morningfrown It was my first Christmas away from home and I spent it with some great people. I was the DD for the night and after dropping off the last person (who lives a few blocks away from me) I headed home to get some much needed rest....or so I thought. I was pulled over by a cop after not stopping fully at a red light before turning right. I got lazy and since there was not a soul in sight I just slowed down and then turned. Damit. That's not even the worst part. The friend that I just finished dropping off, left a bottle of whisky on the passenger floor under a plastic bag that was full of her stuff. Shit, shit, shit! So I get an even worse ticket. I guess that is what I get for doing a good deed. I should have gotten shit faced and stayed at someones place. Oh well. My court date is on the 26th of January. I just want to get the shit paid and over with. It sucks though because I don't have a lot of money as it is, being a college student and all. The only income I have is enough for food, rent, and tuition. Anyways, the lesson has been learned and I'll be even more cautious and aware from now on haha.

Gosh, that totally blows. Maybe you can drag your friends in with you to corroborate your story that you were the designated driver that night. That's gotta count for something right? Can't believe the cop wouldn't cut you slack with that either. Dicks.
