What's on your summers reading list?

Hey y'all!!!

This summer I want to actually make more stops at my local comic shops and catch up on some reading.

My last read was the Legendary Starlord which was a fun read and it introduced me to the Black Vortex so I will be finishing the Black Vortex collection (and everything attached to it) next.

My good friend also brought to my attention that Jaw's the movie derives from a book written by Peter Benchley! It sounds like the epitome of a summer read, so I will def be picking that up for my summer beach read!!!

Oh, it's about a alternate dystopian future. Obviously, the future depicted in the book, which takes place in 1984, didn't happen. Orwell wrote it in the '40s, and it's pretty crazy to think of the things he imagined. Society is basically divided into three classes, the "proles" (the working class), the "outer party," and the "inner party." It seems that the outer and inner party work for the government. The government controls everything, down to rewriting history, and there are thought police who execute individuals for thinking non-conformist thoughts. "Big Brother" is referenced and he does watch and listen to you through telescreens. It's really a fantastic piece of fiction.

I think Death note is awesome! It's my go to book if I'm traveling anywhere :) I've just ordered books 4,5 and 6. I want to read all of the books before watching the anime series.  What chapter are you on ?
