I've been very depressed lately one of my oldest dearest friends shot himself thursday night. So if anyone wants to cheer me up please do so.

I'm really sorry to hear that. That's gotta be pretty traumatic for you and the rest of his friends and family... I hope you're holding up ok, was this unexpected or had there been signs?

happy birthday! With reference to the loss in your life: know that with people who are clinically depressed there is little anyone but 'themselves' can do to stop the cycle of depression or self hate. Now they're no longer trapped in it. Be strong.
