his mum wanted to call him Ivan and I was like no freakin way, man. Ivan..Sheesh. Why not just call him "Hey, kick my ass." Well, I supose Linus is not much better for that.

Linus is Norse for Flaxen Haired. Well when I was a kid I had these big golden locks and thought that if he got the name he might end up with curly hair too. He got it! YES!!! Score one for the dominant scottish hair gene..lol.

Gosh I miss him so much. Just over two months till I get to see him again. He's the best. Call him every day, send him two emails every day and 2,3 postcards a week. Sheesh. Maybe I am a little obsessed. He was out here for ten days and had a blast..I digress.

Um, also at the time his mum was pregnant I was readind a book by Linus Torvalds (Linux) and the name just started working its way in to my noodle.

There is Linus Pauling (2x nobel prize winner), Linus Yale (of padlock fame), Pope Linus (bah)
and of course Linus van Pelt (from peauts).

Oh god it is too early to be this yappy....wish i could go back to bed.
