This was the day of my 30th.....
Got up. Started period. UGH cramps up the wazoo
Get ready, and go to Mom's group (where stay-at-home-moms get their kids together to play while the adults chat). My friend Andrea had a cake for me there. Awwww!
Coming home, I am in the POURING rain and my hubby calls. I meet him at the house he has a huge cheesecake for me and flowers!!!! The candle on the cheesecake says '30' and 'Here lies your youth' LOL! I literally cried!!!! It felt good! I am so damn emotional! My period is pushing that through.
So we eat and go get the kids tested cuz they are behind in some areas in school. It wasn't bad and we get the results in a couple weeks.
From there we go home and my friend Tama comes over with a $25 gift certificate to Bath and Body Works! Awwwwww!!!!
Then my friend Shaula comes over and she takes me shopping for NEW BRAS! Cuz goddess dammit I need the motherfuckers! Fredricks of Hollywood in the Buckingham Square Mall was our destination.
Mike (hubby) meets us at the Super Target and we eat at Subway on Havana and Mississippi. I haden't eaten all day due to cramps. I had a Chicken Ceaser 6 inch. Wolfed it down! Went home, crawled in bed and died because the pain was so bad.
I'm not sure why my cramps are flared up so bad. I haven't felt this kind of pain in a loooooong time . I wonder if my surgery or the painkillers I had to take has anything to do with that?
Anyway, that was my day. This weekend is my "moms group friends" birthday bash. We are going to Mattam Fez on Colfax and then Alley Cat. It is going to be a fun, drunken time! I haven't partied in foreva!

Definitely an eventful birthday. Though it wasn't all good, it sounds like the good WAY overshadowed the bad. Yay!
