I came home last night a rich man, after winning the first prize at the senior art show.

FUCKING FIRST PRIZE!

It felt good. And I got lots of complements from lots of people, some who I knew, and some who I didn't know. A lot of people were curious about technical things, some just expressed appreciation. Some wanted to know how much the prize was. One person asked me if I was the one who brought the cheese flavored crackers.

Well... For anyone who missed it, I'll sum it up for you here. Styrofoam, mostly. Woodglue, paint, and cat litter mixed into a very thick paste. Taxidermy catalog. Thank you. Thanks. Oh, really? Awesome. Oh, thanks. Ha ha, no. It's a gift certificate for a LOT of art supplies. I wish I had. They're yummy. I brought the diet coke with lemon.

Tuesday I begin work on the large project for this semester. The quilt with which I shall express my level of comfort.
