So the paper I am writing is going very well. I have another paper to write within the next few days, but it'll be a piece of cake.
I have 2 pieces in a show in DC, and the show ends Monday, so I have to pick the stuff up. One of the pieces looks really nice on my wall, so it will be good to have it back, assuming it didn't sell at the show. The second piece wasn't for sale, because I sold it the day before it went onto the show. Crazy. The same thing happened last year. I was putting the finishing touches on a piece the day before a show, and someone just walks in and says "I WANT IT!"
Yeah. So that's awesome. And so now I have to ask the purchaser of that piece if I can hold onto it for a little longer so I can put it in another show. This next one is kinda strange. This woman I have been painting murals with, Pat, she's part of this program where they put work by local artists in restaurants and office buildings in the area. So she found a couple of banks that need stuff to display in the lobby. Since the piece that I just sold is partly made from a dollar bill, I think it would go well in a bank. So I hope the purchaser is willing to loan it out.
If not, I have another similar piece that is about half done.
Also, I am working on my final suite of drawings for my drawing 2 class. It's nice to skip drawing one and go straight to drawing 2. The professor is outstanding, the students are great, and the models are the best.
Everything would be perfect, if only it wasn't the holiday shopping season.

Glad to hear things are going well on your end. Congratulations on all your good fortune.
They've got mummies and the original painting of "Mary Magdalene" on display. Pretty damn awesome if I may say so myself.
