Have you ever gone to sleep and then wake up hours later... I mean, like ten or eleven hours later? I think I want to try a 'reverse' week. Instead of trying to sleep 7 or 8 hours, I want to be awake for only 7 hours and sleep the rest of the time.
Sleep is such a damn strange thing. If you try and look at it from a new perspective... Here we are, these creatures that are defined by our thoughts, words, actions, etc etc... yet nearly every day we have to shut down, and sleep... it's weird. I know this sounds like a stoner conversation, but it I really think it's strange.
What's additionally strange is that I hate the fact that I need to sleep, but I love the act of sleeping. I'm not sure there is anything else in the world that I both hate the fact I need it, but love when I do it. (I mean, now that I've kicked that herion/coke/crack/pepsi habit)

Of course there are those times when I say,'ok time to take a long nap, a good 5 hrs shall do'. BUT NOOO!!!! I am awoke by screaming kids and a faint icecream truck jingle....I got my revenge..it started to rain.

Actually we are very lucky because we have a great art scene in Columbus that is very supportive of the up and coming. I usually just comment in journals cause it is so exciting when people comment in mine
