Well, I suppose it is time for some type of actual update. I have recently started my internship with a publishing company. It is fun. I enjoy it. I don't enjoy the 14 hour work-days splitting my time between the publisher, the store I work at and the public transport system. At least tomorrow I only have the internship and I get to see a wonderful girl.
Today I actually spent an hour and a half digging through old files and contracts to find contact information for an author only to discover that he is dead and that we are working through his old translator. Could have figured it out in ten minutes had someone not had the silly file on their desk under some papers. Anyhow, that is the glory of publishing I suppose.
Anyway, excited for tomorrow. yays!
