A native blessing
I was up early to see the glowing leaves. Very few know that is the morning when the leaves are wet. The sun passing through allows you to see the life in them. For a moment I can share time with our creator through one of his oldest creations plants. I drove down the back roads of the park past lakes, in them I saw the mirrors of the heavens. I stopped and said a prayer for my people past and to come. My heart ached for the moments I wasn't and will not be there to share their trails and triumphs. I did something I do to little these days. I opened myself to the world and let all the pain I take in at the job and from those the depend on me out. I thought of all those that have no one to stand for them or fight their fights and I asked for the strength to see the coming days .
It was something I learned from the elders of my family. I found all this beauty renewing me. And at this late hour I wanted to share that with you . I wondered on my way back can my world hold a candle to the wonders of yours.

You really are an angel to me.
