Dry eyes

You pour through appeals and excuses late into the darkness of night . Still awake hoping , as the sun burns away the mist in the dawn's early light. As you hold on to the first tear refusing to let it see flight. You know in your heart the love you desire , the needs you have, were never really in sight. You move your mouth to try to control the anxiety roaring to the front . Thinking to yourself How could I be such a loser, a weak little c.......
Now the the passions , the dreams , the small pieces of your soul . They cut your insides, hurting so bad even real steel couldn't be as cold. Where do you turn. Who can you hang your head to then vent. Is life always so fucked ,is it forever bent?
Don't fold hold your head high SISTER. If it be, let the tears well thundering out for the world to see. From the rivers you shed learn to never take your soul to bed . Heart can be broke but , love is the cure . A crack in your soul is forever that's for sure.
Let time make you wise and life make you true . Learn who you seek and watch for them in the places and the things you do. But keep you head up . Let them do them you just do you.
