Welntaod and alienprincess made the trek from CT to Boston tonight to come to Flesh, an evening at the club. It just made me realize how wonderful it would be to live in the same city as them, and it also made me sad that the tyranny of geography keeps me from seeing them as often as I'd like. They're truly wonderful people. It just doesn't get any better. Well, actually, it does. My fianc Su was there tonight as well, making a somewhat rare (these days, anyway) appearance at ManRay.

My weekend is rather full...after a spree of much needed and probably dramatic cleaning in my apartment tomorrow, a serious vocal recording session for my new album on Sunday. Then, it's off to New York on Monday for "An Evening With Siouxsie". Yes, the one who used to travel with some Banshees. It's a cabaret seating (and in a somewhat intimate setting) concert featuring songs from the Banshees, The Creatures, and some new material. I can't wait. Then, it's back on Tuesday for more recording, some creative session work for a top secret project, and maybe a tiny nap somewhere.

Hope you are celebrating the "last weekend of Summer" in a delightful and meaningful fashion. Because after that, so I've been told, it's all downhill, and there will probably be sweaters involved.
