I've been harboring a dark secret:
My motorcycle insurance has lapsed and I don't have the money to renew it. It's only $46, yet that seems like all the money in the world right now. This is why I haven't been riding lately.
I just scored an electric tachometer for my bike off eBay, too. This tach will allow me to finally install the GPz...

I'd say find a new doctor...she sounds like an ass. If you need and qualify for disability, it's your right to get it!
Either way...I'll see you online elsewhere

Whoa - but you'll still have your myspace account and your email right!!!? You can't just disappear dude!!
Hey, you should make sure that you explore your full benefit entitlements! I was unfortunate to be unemployed for 18 months (a long time ago) and had no hesitation in claiming my (negligible) dole money. Hey, we pay enough tax when we're working, make sure that you get your fair share of entitlements back when you need it!

MrBlisters tagged me, so I'm supposed to list twenty interesting things about myself. I haven't had much luck, but it's worth a shot. Heterochromia helped me with several of these...
1. I was born in the same hospital where Brad Pitt was born, possibly delivered by the same doctor and staff.
2. I know how to make guitars and amplifiers.

Wow, nothing short of interesting there, kid.
I love that you are a hair farmer. That is pretty fucking cool and I admire you for doing that.
Thanks for sharing..

this H1/H2 site is huge, with loads of info & good forums. I've come across some chassis mods & swaps that sound like the ticket. I'm not really sure of what direction I'm going to go with them, and it'll be a while before I get to them anyhow. This thought woke me up in the middle of the night though - with no valvetrain, what might be involved in spinning the cylinders around so the carbs are in front and the exhasust comes out the back?
I know there's some kinda transfer ports that pull mixture to & from the crancase or something like that. The pistons might have reliefs cut into them that work with the various cylinder ports too??? It may be that the hot exhaust side needs to be in front for cooling to help the cylinders/pistons keep their shape better.
Right now the collector needs to build a shed. I'm searching frantically for something used after downloading some plans & taking the material list to Home Despot. $$$$$.

Plaquenil is really doing a number on me.
I'm in the middle of the adjustment period where I have all the side effects but none of the benefits fo the drug.

Ahh, I see. It's weird how one thing can work in various ways, especially when they just stumble over it. The drug Hugh's going on works for cancer... and acute arthritus?
Hope the good effects kick in soon

Hang in there, baby. You'll start to feel the benefits soon.
I finally got in to see the famous Dr. Joan T. Merrill today.
It was okay, I guess. She doesn't have a great bedside manner... At times it felt like she was calling me a fake, that I wasn't really sick.
I filled out some paperwork, answered a bunch of questions, gave a bunch of blood, filled out more paperwork, peed in a cup, and...

Faker.
Next time you know you'll have to pee in a cup, drink a bottle of green food coloring and watch their expressions when you turn it in.
Or better yet, use red food coloring and run into the room with your sample crying like a little girl.

Are you kidding? I AM sweet! Muah!
My mother came to see me today.
I didn't see her, though.
She didn't call ahead.
She knocked on the front door. Nobody uses the front door.
I couldn't hear her knock because the attic fan was running, and it's kinda like having an airplane in the ceiling.
Dad was sitting on the back porch, I may have been in the shower at the time....

Wow, she definitely could have been a little more persistent... or she could have let you know she was going to visit. Is that a far drive?

The concept came from the episode of Star Trek when a parasite had to be removed from a dying host body and placed into another host body. The parasite couldn't live independently, only within another living organism.
So, Kim and I grew up together. In the last few years she has seen that Bret acts much like I did so he must somehow be my son. The joke was ongoing until recently when he danced in a school play. For many years, like myself, he did nothing to bring attention upon himself. That is, except for dancing. And that boy can dance.
So not long after, he told his mom that he wanted to live with me, his real mother, but he couldn't bear to leave her. He laughed and said that if the umbilical cord was cut, she would die since she was the host body. Kim was familiar enough with Star Trek to ask him what he was, if she was the host body. My geek son said it would make him the parasite.
That's how I have my very own geek son ... parasite.
Here's a coupla journals to explain a bit more about why he must really be mine, if you want to know any more. Here's one. Here's the other.

My head was in a bad place this morning, bad nightmares all night, didn't sleep well. Dull, throbbing headache. I decided to get out in the beautiful weather and mow.
First I mowed the yard, then along the driveway out to the road (about a quarter of a mile away). Then I switched to the tractor with the brush hog attachment to mow beside the...

Yeah, bummer about biscuit. Any word on a cause? I know H is probably a suspect
. Any solution to the brakes yet? In high school I had 7 acres of lawn to mow every weekend, I kinda miss it every now & then. My yard is dirt
.
I added this to my journal entry at your request. (of course I wouldn't have actually kept it to myself anyhow
):
Per request for "more motorcycle stuff" how about this: I got the kawi's front wheel up for the first time today
. Funny thing is I wasn't trying to. Fella on a V-rod wanted to race, and I was more than happy to oblige. He got slightly ahead of me when I eased off to set the front back down, but I passed him in 2nd, checked the mirrors at about 140 & he was way back there. Didn't feel the least bit disconcerting even though I was taken off guard, just a neat "floaty" feeling & a big 'ol
.
