The last pedal I made that really pissed me off was a tremolo pedal, and a very cool one. Fairly simple, really, but gave you tons of control, five knobs for rate, spacing, etc. But it sounds muddy. I can't get it so that turning it on doesn't cut the volume or change the tone. And it's just an op-amp circuit driven by a light-dependent resistor, nothing complicated. I need to try different LDR and/or optocouplers, I guess.
In fact I have built a Univibe clone, and it kicks major ass. So cool. I totally love that sound, I crank up and put on my germanium fuzz and plink out the openign to Machine Gun or Bridge of Sighs and it sounds so killer. I built an Easy Vibe, rather than a semi-exact clone, which needs a complicated power supply. Worthwhile pedal.

I've spent the last few days laying on a heating pad, and I doubled up on prednisone and ibuprofen and it seems to have done the trick: I'm getting around a LOT better now. Yay for recycling! You're absolutley right about copper prices buddy, could be a nice little next egg that you've found yourslelf there. It's a shame that the solar system felll into disrepair though. Hey, that's kind if a Freudian slip. I mean't, your home solar heating system, but it kind holds true for the sun and it's (eight is it now?) planets too, i think.
What's with the swelling? Is that a side effect of meds? Anyway, hopin' it clears up soon...
The only bad dreams i have are the ones that start when i wake up at 6.30am Mon-Friday...they last until about 7pm.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, some times I get over whelmed with all the journals I need to read and forget about replying to some comments.
If you like old guitars I have a pretty old one, it's an Ovation breadwinner I think, i think It is a 74 model, I do know it was from the first year they made them, have you ever heard of that one. I wish I could get the will to play again.
Well I really do want to go to grad school, but what if I can't get in, what if no school will have me.
