I've worked my way into some extra cash recently by going through Ye Olde Scrappe Pile and selling the copper & aluminum (copper goes for $2.70/lb, aluminum $.60/lb) so the decommissioned solar water heater panels have netted me enough to move forward on some long languished projects... as well as some gear upgrades! Yes, I've been going eBay crazy!
I plan on freshening up the top end of my motorcycle's engine over the next couple of weeks:

I'll install a manual cam chain tensioner:

Harley Davidson Sportster shocks, barely used:

Lighted tag bolts:

These are for the fiberglass racing seat with which I'm sure you're all familiar...

I recently added two more layers of fiberglass & resin to repair cracks and plug holes:

I scored some 1" thick black neoprene closed cell padding for this seat (enough to do it several times, in fact):

The GPz tank is done, just needs me to transfer the cap and petcock from my present tank, and I'll need to fab up a simple mounting bracket for the back end:

After some diligent shopping I've managed to score some new gear:
Silk glove liners:

Barely used armored leather pants, complete with kneesliders:

(That's right, leather pants. I also have a ponytail and an earring, so I'm hoping to start dating a teenager. Any candidates out there?)
Barely used boots:

I turn 40 this next month, so I'm planning a trip to the Texas Hill Country to bomb the twisty roads there with some old friends!

I also hope to get my buddy's Honda VT500 Ascot on the road. I gave it to him years ago, and he promptly took it apart, then we both moved and it's mostly sat in boxes since then...

I don't look 40, and you may wonder what my secret is... I'm immature! Really, you should try it some time! It gives me a wonderful latitude for behavior...
EDIT:
Ahhh, my shocks just arrived!
These don't have adjustable rebound damping like the shocks that are on my bike, but they're also not a quarter of a century old...

I posted this pic in SGVegas and it confused some folks who've never lived where there are opossums. "how could someone mistake a ferret for a cat?" "oh, it's an opposum. how could someone mistake a rodent for a cat?" "Oh, it's a marsupial?" "how could..." "Oh, it's a joke flyer? and it's funny if you know opossums?" enjoy:
Hey, do you guys have Discovery HD? I don't but I'm going to see if my dad will record that Motoczysz documentary. I could send you a dvd-r if you want.
