I actually had a really nice Thanksgiving Day. I drove Dad to my aunt's house where there were hugs, cousins, turkeys (one baked, one smoked), other delicious traditional dishes, more hugs, dogs, cats, more dogs, more hugs, and pecan pie from my grandmother's recipe.

House Of Whites! that's hilarious! It's disgraceful that I'm so far removed from the goings on in town that I didn't even know they were playing. Two of my favorite concert memories: Niel Young with Social D and Sonic Youth opening. 2- New Years Eve early 90s Social D played in a big tent outside a bar called Sneakers here in Vegas. Someone accidentally elbowed me in the lower lip sending my tooth clean through it. The hole was large enough that I could stick a cigarette in it and hold a conversation without removing it. good times!
