Kind of a crazy day, but fun too!
First off, I slept until 3:00 pm.
I made my fabulous bratwurst migas with waffle fries. Yummm!
About 5:00 I went outside and fired up the little Kubota tractor and used the box blade attachment to smooth out the driveway. I put my little MP3 player on a lanyard and wore it around my neck, under my shirt. (It worked great!) I did that for about three hours and then switched to the mowing attachment (brush hog, for those of you who know what that is) and headed for the ditch.
The Ditch

Doesn't look like much, but the weeds were like eight feet tall and put up a pretty good fight. Oh yeah, I got one of the headlights to work and mowed in the dark. Kinda spooky a few times, since the weeds were SO tall and thick that I could hardly see through them, and at one point when I was turning around I almost backed into the swamp at the bottom of the hill. Kinda creepy to break through the weeds and there's all that black water and it's right there!
Then I went to the shop and wired in my circuit board!
I've still got a long way to go before I ever even plug this thing in, I'm still trying to suss out a few things. It looks complete but there are some things about it that I know can't be right but I don't know what to do to make it right, so I await the informed opinion of various vintage amplifier gurus on different internet forums. This is what happens when you try to mix two different circuits using a recipe you found on the internet, hahahaha! It comes highly rated and lots of people with these amps are doing this mod, but it doesn't come with a layout diagram or anything...

My biggest fear ever is being in a vehicle that gets drove into water. Even if I were on a lawn mower or tractor that I could just swim off of, just thinking about being in your shoes (and at night!) and almost backing into swampy waters makes me feel nervous. Seriously. I'm having a small panic attack inside right now. why were you mowing at night?? Don't freak my out like that!
