I've been off the prednisone for about six weeks now, and I'm trying to get the weight off. According to my nurse, I've lost 15 lbs since my last visit six weeks ago, so something must be working.
I've ramped up my physical therapy recently: I've started walking about two and a half miles over some killer hills, and tonight I did it carrying a pair of five pound weights. This may not sound like much, but by the time I got back to the house the sweat was raining off of me. The conditions were perfect, too, like 80 degrees and real fuckin' humid!
Here's my walking course, connect the dots:

When I got back, I had dinner:

Celery, olives, pickled okra, pepperoncinis, and baby carrots (not pictured) with a little Italian + Blue Cheese + bacon bits dressing. For dessert I had a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios.
This is a far cry from my diet a few years ago...

I love the peppers but cannot eat them anymore. Losing the weight is a good thing, I am going back to be a corporate whore so I am back to getting a lot more exercise.
