FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

I've done something terrible to my back! Near as I can tell, I've herniated a spinal disc near my sacrum (It's the green part at the bottom).





I had a terrible headache (and more nightmares) the last few days, and was so relieved when I got up today and it was gone, like the fog has finally lifted. I made myself a nice breakfast, then went outside to the shop and got to work. I rearranged a bunch of lumber, moving boards from one side of the shop to the other, moved the table saw, scooted some boxes out of the way and then... and then... I bent over to pick up an aluminum ladder and heard/felt this sickening crunch! The sacrum is just above your tail bone, apparently home to a large bundle of nerves. This put me on my knees, where I stayed for a few minutes until I could get my shit together enough to stand up and very slowly make my way back to the house.

Fucking pisses me off! It was such a beautiful day out side and I was getting stuff done!

This has happened before, a couple years ago when I was pouring cat litter out of a bag. I'll be better in a few days, probably just in time for my monthly infusion which will make me feel like shit and send me to bed for a few days..
