Well, I've dropped my bike off at Action Man's garage. My baby's going under the wrench!
I find myself unexpectedly... melancholic. I suppose this must be what a parent feels like when they first drop off their child at school. I'm excited, though: Today begins the surgery!
Riding over there, the bike handled great with the new shocks, cornered like it was on rails! What's...

I wish I had even the slightest excuse for leather pants. Alas....
I hope your finger gets better and doesn't keep you from working on your stuff at all or for too long.

sadly, I'm not actually working on anything right now. Mostly just busy with work again, somewhat just burned out and unmotivated on projects at the present. The motoczysz documentary was good, not earth-shattering or anything but definitely worth a watch.

That is so very sad, he was a great actor, it is to bad he didn't really do anything with it in the last 20-30 years.
I've worked my way into some extra cash recently by going through Ye Olde Scrappe Pile and selling the copper & aluminum (copper goes for $2.70/lb, aluminum $.60/lb) so the decommissioned solar water heater panels have netted me enough to move forward on some long languished projects... as well as some gear upgrades! Yes, I've been going eBay crazy!

my posts have been disappearing lately. Or perhaps when I click "add comment" it starts taking forever and I get impatient and go elsewhere thinking the internet has got my back and it will show up. Anyhow, mostly I had said that if you overtighten and snap one of those light bolts send me the other one because then I can have a pair. in other words, they snap easy so be careful. the tank looks great, can't wait to see it & the seat on the bike. should be a great summer! got a tail light plan yet? I put one of these (the non-sequential, non-flashing one) on the triumph. pretty cheap compared to other similar stuff, comes with a strong glue backing to just stick on. The price makes putting up with the seriously annoying marketing alright I guess.
I posted this pic in SGVegas and it confused some folks who've never lived where there are opossums. "how could someone mistake a ferret for a cat?" "oh, it's an opposum. how could someone mistake a rodent for a cat?" "Oh, it's a marsupial?" "how could..." "Oh, it's a joke flyer? and it's funny if you know opossums?" enjoy:

Hey, do you guys have Discovery HD? I don't but I'm going to see if my dad will record that Motoczysz documentary. I could send you a dvd-r if you want.

You remind me of a guy I used to be in a band with. he could build a motocycle from scratch, build a computer from scratch, and was a licensed pilot. And oh yeah, he new the guitar inside and out.
I can't even put drums on one single song after 4 days of trying.

What a boring old fuck I must seem to you people...
So I've been playing with my wood, right?
I had to cut the big board into shorter pieces, which meant that I had to figure out which end of the board I wanted to use to make this amplifier cabinet. This was the nicest board they had at the lumber yard, but it's still...

So the post office is a bad place to work for is it? I guess that rules out trying to get a job at the post office, I saw some jobs posted for it last week.
I know I do, to tell you the truth the only reason I stayed at that place this long is because me and her became good friends, I don't have many friends so I knew when I came to work that I would have at least one person to talk to, I have become friends with other people there but she was my best friend. I'm afraid that I will have to get another factory job, I told her that if she can't get her job back I will get a job with her, she doesn't have a car and she was ridding to work with her ex boyfriend who she still lives with, I hope we can find a job we can both do that isn't a factory job.

Now I see where Birch Street (mine) gets it's name. B O R I N G.
I meant to mention earlier how awesome the logo looks polished. You had stated (before polishing) that you weren't totally satisfied with the uneven lines. I think, and especially after polishing, that really kinda makes it. If the lines were perfect nobody would consider that it might be handmade. Dude, a cigarette sounds sooo damned good right now.
